SanDisk's new USB 3.0 flash drive can connect directly to Android smartphones and tablets
As part of its CES 2015 announcements, SanDisk has revealed its new Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0, which can not only connect to Windows and Mac PCs but can also connect directly to Android smartphones and tablets via a micro-USB port.
SanDisk says:
Adding to its portfolio of innovative memory solutions, including SanDisk's current, extremely popular SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 2.0, the new SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 enables mobile users to transfer files even faster, as well as free up space on their smartphones and tablets. The drive simply connects via micro-USB to a compatible Android device and gives users up to 64GB of extra storage instantly.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 is available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions, with prices between $22.99 to $64.99.
